Brooke Dockyard held the Contract Signing Ceremony with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for Anjung Facilities and Bokor Phase 3 Re-Development Wellhead Platform (WHP) Projects. The ceremony is witnessed by The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg,Chief Minister of Sarawak.
The Bokor (WHP) contract was awarded to Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd on 12 April 2017. The scope of works cover front-end engineering design (FEED) and detail engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of three (3) wellhead platforms.
The Bokor Field is located within the Baram Delta in the South China Sea, about 45km North West of Lutong, Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia in a water depth of approximately 70m. Equity in the field is shared between PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) and Sarawak Shell Berhad (SSB), with PCSB as the operator.
The main objectives of Bokor Phase 3 Redevelopment Project are to develop additional reserves through a combination of infill drilling and iWAG in the EF reservoirs, and to achieve the first injection by 2020.
The project duration for Bokor is approximately 40 months from the award date. Mechanical Completion Date (MCD) for the Sub-structure will be 29 January 2019 for BODP-D, 19 March 2019 for BODP-E and 29 May 2019 for BODP-F. Bokor Topsides MCD will be 5 April 2019 for BODP-D,31 May 2019 on BODP-E and 27 July 2019 for BODP-F.
The Bokor Project is a much awaited project that will showcase Brooke Dockyard's capabilities in the offshore installation using float over method via its owned recently acquired barge the Ranee Brooke 2.
The Anjung contract was awarded to Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd on 24 April 2017.The scope of works covers details engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) .
The Anjung Gas Development project located offshore within the Central Luconia Province, approximately 180km North West of Bintulu, Sarawak (part of Kumang Cluster PSC). Anjung field is part of Kumang Cluster PSC within the Central Luconia Province, approximately 180km North West of Bintulu, Sarawak. The discovered fields within the PSC are planned to be developed in such order of F9 South, F12, Anjung, Anjung South, KASS and Kumang West as part of Kumang Cluster Ph 2A development. The project duration for Anjung is approximately 18 months from the award date.
The onshore mechanical completion date (MCD) for Anjung will be 25 September 2018 for Sub-structure and 25 October 2018 for Topsides.
Brooke Dockyard shall utilize its main fabrication yard in Sejingkat and its new 60 acres yard at Demak Laut Industrial area for the fabrication of Bokor WHP and Anjung Facilities.
Brooke Dockyard and Petronas Carigali have a long working relationship going way back to 1997. Malong A Jacket and Topsides was the first project awarded by Petronas Carigali to Brooke Dockyard which was also the first oil and gas project undertaken by Brooke Dockyard. The second project was Angsi B Topsides awarded in 2001 and the third project was BAKP-B Baram Development awarded in 2005.
