FABRICATION OF JERNEH-B PLATFORM AND SUBSTRUCTURE

The Jerneh B project was the first project undertaken by Brooke Dockyard for ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc (EMEPMI).

The Jerneh-B Platform was a satellite gas field development of which a tripod jacket substructure and integrated deck topside located at offshore Terengganu. Overall tonnage weight for the fabrication work was around 1,130 metric tonnes. The construction work for Jerneh-B Topsides and substructure started on March 2006 and was successfully completed and loaded out on the 31st October 2007.
Brooke dockyard as part of the contract scope will also undertook the associated host tie in and offshore hook-up and commissioning work.

The successful completion of the Jerneh-B packages is a culminated of nine months work duration with 457,335 man-hours achieved with no lost time incident.
